lev is top tier, the most important, and he's all that abby has left. he has a quick, dry sense of humour, a warm hug, and a withering stare. dab hand with a bow. she loves him. she's proud of him, and all he's done. they're a team. even differing opinions can't tear them apart

"You're one of my favourite people here."

clarisse has finally ascended into spot of best friend. good for her. they're ride-or-die, and clarisse is a witty, rude asshole. abby fucking adores her. she cannot take a compliment but she will let you hold her huge evil looking spear so it evens out

jennifer
"am I allowed to see your knees yet? We're not even married."

jennifer and abby, locked in a perpetual what are we. abby's feeling it out as she goes, enjoying the journey but unwilling to make any sort of commitment; thanks, low self-esteem. at least jennifer is always willing to listen to her. that counts for a lot.

nico
"i won't– break all your bones. just one or two."

nico probably puts up with her for lev's sake. but he's a smart, sassy kid, and if some one matters to lev they matter to abby. she'd punch another giant tentacle monster for him if she had to but she hopes she doesn't

SCORPIA
"Uh, I kind of want to know you're there. That's the whole point?"

scorpia is great. she's easy, she's agreeable, she's fun to be around. she makes abby want to be agreeable, and in turn, scorpia seems to have made it her personal mission to prop abby up as much as possible which is a new thing. but... a nice thing, all the same.

Peter
"We have to stop meeting like this."

abby likes peter a lot! he makes her laugh. they've hit a fun stride in mutually looking out for each other but he's pretty reckless with his own life, and she can only lose so many friends. hurts. maybe safer to keep him at arm's length.

obi-wan
"for what it's worth, if this place is about to explode, it's been good talking to you."

obi-wan's got big dad energy. he isn't pushy or overbearing with it, just quietly... there. he looks out for her. he checks in; it's good. abby doesn't have any relationships like that in her life, and she appreciates it.

bella
"Never heard somebody describe themselves as a walking hazard before."

bella is clarisse's girl, so she's already got a pass; beyond that she makes abby laugh a lot. she's accident-prone. they have similar taste in books... remind her to start an in-depth conversation about pride and prejudice some time soon

miles
"if you ever need help with any top secret... Spider things, I could be part of your team."

miles is a cool kid. he is officially on the list of people that abby is remembering to look out for, because she's highly aware that he's fine with throwing himself head-long into danger for other people; who's going to look out for him?

diarmuid
"... Diarmuid, are you asking me to be your wing man?"

solid kid. taught abby how to use emoji-cons, a skill that has carried her so far. if he needed her for any reason, she'd drop shit to help him out. he's got a good sense of humour and he's similarly in the dark about technology, a fine addition to her friend list
